AUDIENCE & AGENDA: Showing how many people in the U.S. are uninsured and why they are not insured the article is almost an add for BCBS. With reasons for being uninsured ‘solved’ by the health care plans that BCBS provides the article breaks down how BCBS is part of the solution and not the problem.

USEFULNESS: Blue Cross Provides a break down the reasons people are uninsured and the cost that you pay being uninsured. The article also lists the people that are uninsured: most of which just cannot afford the coverage, one-third are children, and in some cases Americans just don’t have health insurance. One of the options that BCBS proposes for a solution for reducing the number of people uninsured is to have the government step into the solution. Blue Cross has the government come into the health field both on the state level, and as a safety net for the uninsured.
