SUPPORT: Premiums, the definition of what premiums mean to the health care industry; COBRA, The Child Care bill past in January.
AUDIENCE & AGENDA: Working for Providence health care systems the interviewee was telling his opinion while still upholding the values of the company.
USEFULNESS: The definition of what a premium means to an actual insurance company was a very helpful conversation, as well as the opinions on COBRA and the child health care bill. Although the interviewee agreed that the government should come into the health care system to help hospitals network better, the answer to the question is not as simple as some think it should be. Things like COBRA, the program that doesn’t attach insurance to the employer, and SCHIP, the new children’s health care, things seem to be moving in the right direction.
