SUPPORT:

AUDIENCE & AGENDA: Used on the Piper Report the image gives a summary of the article, how much prescriptions can cost and are you getting the best for your money. Used in the Blog the image again conveys a strong tie between health care and money, asking the question: ‘are you making the moves to lower your health care bills?’ In both articles the image is used to tie health care with money. Both of these sites are tied to health care and fiance, the readers of the blog would be more likely to be the average American looking to save a few dollars on health care; whereas the Piper Report is aimed directly at health care issues and articles.

USEFULNESS: The image is attention grabbing and conveys a thought that with the money that you give to health care industries you can only receive a little in return. The way that the pills are placed, only taking up half of the bill, puts across a thought that the ‘glass is half empty’ in a way. Also the look on Ben Franklin’s face, is almost one of disconcert.
